Everton want to sign Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall
Everton are reportedly keen on signing Nottingham Forest defender Joe Worrall.
According to the Daily Mirror, a bid in the region of £10million will be enough to convince the Championship side to part ways with the 24-year-old.
Fellow Premier League sides Burnley and Newcastle are also understood to be tracking the highly-rated English centre-back.
At the amount being mentioned, Worrall is an absolute bargain and the Toffees must be all over him in January.
Given the extravagant transfer fees players are sold for these days, the 24-year-old is available at a relatively modest price.
Rafa Benitez had been linked with plenty of defenders in the summer, but due to Everton’s financial situation, the Spaniard was unable to bring a new one through the door at Goodison Park.
Worrall would come in highly recommended and would be an instant upgrade on Michael Keane.

His arrival could see Benitez deploying a back three more regularly as he’s good defensively but is very good at progressing the ball from the defence as well.
Marcel Brands will have to act quickly and get him to the club before Newcastle enter the race.
Given their financial might, they can easily offer him higher wages and take him to St. James’ Park even though they’re in a relegation battle.
