‘Feel-good factor’ - Jordan Pickford backs Frank Lampard ahead of Everton v Crystal Palace
Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has given his vote of confidence to manager Frank Lampard ahead of the last two matches in the Premier League season.
The Toffees are currently placed on the 16th position in the league table with just two matchdays to go.
Despite the recent defeat against Brentford, Pickford believes that the Liverpool-based club, under the management of the former Chelsea boss, are ready for two massive games against Crystal Palace and Arsenal, who according to him has brought back the ‘feel-good factor’.
“The position we were in when he arrived was difficult but we feel good now and we’re ready for two massive games,” he said during a conversation with Everton legend Tim Howard for the club’s official website.
“Obviously, everyone knew when he came in the career he had as a player and the respect he’s been shown around the place has been great.
“We knew what he wanted from us from day one. We work hard, we enjoy working hard and, when the time is right, we have fun around each other after training is done. It’s a really good environment, a good football environment. He’s brought that feel-good factor.”

Battle for EPL survival
Everton are placed in the 16th position in the points table, just one point more than 17th placed Burnley and two more than 18th-placed Leeds.
Both Everton and Burnley have to play two games left while Leeds will be up against Brentford for their final game in the Premier League this season.
Everton can take an almighty step towards Premier League survival if they pick up a victory over Crystal Palace on Thursday.
However, it will be a huge task for the Blues to bounce back from Brentford’s defeat, especially without the services of Jarrad Branthwaite and Salomon Rondon, who were suspended after receiving red cards.
Manager Lampard will be once again banking on his star duo of striker Richarlison and goalkeeper Pickford, both of whom have been inspirational for the club in the ongoing campaign.
The Brazil international has scored crucial goals for the Toffees whereas the England goalkeeper has been prolific between the sticks.
