Everton ready to bid for Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-jae
Everton are keen to land a central defender this summer, and they have earmarked Fenerbache enforcer Kim Min-jae as the perfect fit for the role.
According to Turkish media outlet, Ajansspor, The Toffees are prepared to lodge a bid for the South Korean defender.
The player is equally keen on testing himself at a higher league, and has a £19.4 million release clause in his contract.
Big summer
Min-jae joined the Turkish giants last summer and has made a strong impression.
He made 39 appearances for the Turkish club this season, and has done enough to attract interest from Premier League clubs.

Frank Lampard wants the Toffees to get busy in the summer transfer window after narrowly preventing the club from getting relegated.
It seems the Merseyside giants are heavily interested in the 25-year-old South Korea international, and they are ready to put a formal offer for him.
Bolstering the defence is key for the Toffees next season, and Lampard needs to be ruthless while shaping his squad.
Yerry Mina is a fantastic player when fit, but he has struggled horribly with injuries. He should be sold in the summer, as Lampard shouldn’t look to build his side on a player whom he can’t trust.
Michael Keane has also been inconsistent this season, and Lampard should look to sell him if there’s a good offer on the table. Min-jae looks a solid defender and it remains to be seen if Everton are willing to trigger his buy-out clause.
