Everton must act quickly to sign Christian Eriksen after Manchester United have reportedly made the first move for him.
According to The Athletic, the Red Devils have made an offer to sign the 30-year-old who is available to sign on a free transfer as his Brentford contract expires on June 30.
The Denmark international signed a short-term deal with Brentford in January and looked class during his short spell. He helped the club secure Premier League safety, but the midfield maestro now has loads of options.

The Daily Mail reported via their print edition on 4 June (page 114) that the Toffees are keen on signing the former Tottenham midfielder.
This is a golden opportunity for the Toffees, and they must not miss out on him.
There’s always room for top-class players, and it is upto the manager to use them properly.
He is a player who will definitely improve Frank Lampard’s side. Why? Because, at the moment, there is no creativity at all in the middle of the park.
Fabian Delph is technically good, but he is injury prone. Plus, he is likely to leave at the end of this month.

Likewise, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure are industrious players who lack creativity. Andre Gomes is one player who is capable of it, but he has become a shadow of his former self.
Eriksen has loads of experience, but above all, he still has got a few good years left in him.
Lampard wants to rebuild his side with quality players, and the Toffees must beat Manchester United in the race to sign him.
In other Everton news, a Sky Sports pundit thinks one of Lampard’s targets would be worth splashing out £20million if the boss wants him.
