Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez stance detailed amid Everton links
Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez is reportedly not keen on leaving the club this summer amid links to Everton.
According to Marca (July 27, page 10), manager Manuel Pellegrini also fancies the 28-year-old Argentine to stay and the club would only consider his sale if an extraordinary offer landed at their door.
The Toffees have already enquired over his availability but it seems like their initial approaches have been rebuffed.
Move on
If after an initial approach is made and the player does not appear keen on moving to Goodison Park, then the Toffees must move on to other targets.
It’s apparent that they need to sign a central midfielder this summer and the Argentine would undoubtedly have been an upgrade on their current options.

However, he seems to be enjoying life at Betis and getting him out of there is going to be far from straightforward.
Instead, the Toffees must turn their attention to players that are likely to fancy leaving their club and moving to Everton this summer.
The club have been linked with a number of midfielders over the past few weeks after they failed in their efforts to sign Harry Winks from Tottenham Hotspur.
Frank Lampard knows Billy Gilmour well and the Toffees have been linked with a move for the Scotland international who appears to be out of favour with Thomas Tuchel.
Gilmour has been scheduled to have showdown talks with the German manager and Everton could look to capitalise if conversations break down in the coming days.
