Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus remains on Everton radar for January transfer window
Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus reportedly still remains on the radar of Everton for the January transfer window after his failed summer move.
According to the Daily Express, the Ghana international has been catching the eye for his exceptional performances in the Champions League and would be a “huge asset” for the Toffees.
He scored a belter against Rangers and did the same against Liverpool on Tuesday, 14 September, showing that he’s ready for the biggest of stages.
Sign him up
The 22-year-old was literally forcing a way out of the Eredivise club in order to join Everton in the transfer window – such was his desperation to move to Merseyside.
It was understood that on transfer deadline day, the Ghanian refused to train at the club after seeing what happened with two of his teammates in the window.
Manchester United successfully managed to sign both Antony and Lisandro Martinez from Ajax after the duo downed tools at the club.
Both players expressed their frustrations in different ways, but a precedent has now been set at the club which lets employees hold the club by ransom.
If Kudus really wants a move in January as well, he can do the same thing he did in the summer and the chances of them sanctioning an exit could become a lot easier.
Hopefully, Everton have the funds to pay Ajax as Kudus as likely to garner more interest once the window reopens as he’s showcasing his skills in the Champions League.
