Dan Friedkin has reignited his interest in the Everton takeover only two months after cooling his interest, according to Bloomberg.

The news outlet reported on 16 September that the American billionaire is understood to be keen on purchasing the Toffees and is in discussions with stakeholders.

The club are in takeover talks with John Textor who's also keen on taking over the reins at Goodison Park.

Dan Friedkin would be a decent option for Everton

Friedkin's renewed interest in acquiring the Toffees could be highly beneficial for the club, given his track record with AS Roma.

His ownership led Roma to significant success, including a Europa Conference League victory, demonstrating his commitment to on-field achievements.

Friedkin's financial prowess, with a net worth estimated at around $6.4billion [£4.85billion], per the Esk, suggests he has the resources to stabilise Everton financially, invest in the squad and support the transition to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

His experience in managing a football club also means he understands the importance of fan engagement and club culture, which is crucial for passionate fans.

However, with competing interests from figures like Textor, Friedkin must solidify his bid swiftly.

Delaying could risk losing the opportunity to another investor, potentially leading to a less favourable outcome for Everton's future.

His involvement could not only promise financial stability but also a strategic vision for success, making it imperative for him to act decisively.
