Iliman Ndiaye could have a telling impact once again for Everton as they welcome Nottingham Forest to Goodison.

The Toffees are coming off the back of a draw against Manchester City and will be keen to secure another positive result before the turn of the year.

This won't be an easy task as Nuno Espirito Santo's side sit third in the Premier League and will represent a tough task on Sunday (29 December).

If Sean Dyche's side are going to take any points away from the Reds, Ndiaye will have to be on form and take advantage of a potential weakness.

The Senegal international showed his class with a superb touch and finish at the Etihad, cancelling out Bernardo Silva's early strike.

This capped off a performance where the summer signing maintained a 91 per cent pass accuracy and a 100 per cent conversion rate [FotMob] which helped to take a point from the Premier League champions.

The former Sheffield United man also showed a superb work rate as he chipped in with one tackle, two clearances and five recoveries.

Ndiaye will have to show this level of form once again as Forest travel to Merseyside which could see him take advantage of Ola Aina.

The Nigeria international has had a positive start to the campaign but loves to gamble and get forward at every opportunity which could suit the Toffees forward.

Against Tottenham, the 28-year-old didn't contribute a single tackle while also losing five of his six attempted duels at the City Ground.

The former Chelsea youngster also committed two fouls which could be drawn by the Senegalese wideman and that could result in excellent set-piece opportunities for Dyche's men.

The attacker signed from Marseille looks set to have a telling impact once again but there is a positive chance that he can do so.
