Everton January transfer: Beto says yes to exit after new demand

Torino have tightened contacts with Everton to sign Beto in the January transfer window, according to Tuttosport.

The news outlet reports (31 December) that the Serie A outfit are working on a deal as the Toffees seek a £13million obligation in a potential loan offer.

As for the striker, he has already said yes to the possible transfer after being dissatisfied with his lack of minutes at the Merseyside outfit.

The Guinean’s camp have asked the Blues to sanction his exit in the winter window.

Everton should cut losses on Beto with Torino transfer

Beto has failed to live up to expectations at the Blues after his summer 2023 move from Udinese.

The 26-year-old was a regular fixture in the starting lineup last season but has fallen down the pecking order in recent months.

In the 2024/25 campaign, the forward has made 13 appearances in all competitions, starting in just one Premier League game.

Everton have scored the second-fewest goals in the English top flight this season, with Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin failing to find the back of the net consistently.

Armando Broja made his first start for the Toffees in the 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, and the Albanian looks ready for more after returning from injury.

Goodison News understands Beto is part of Sean Dyche’s plans as things stand.

Dan Friedkin brings with them a host of contacts in Italy, considering they own Roma, and the 26-year-old might find himself playing in Serie A once again.

The Guinea-Bissau international thrived at Udinese before his move to Goodison, and an exit would be ideal for both parties.
