Everton are set to travel to Wolves on Saturday as they look to make it back-to-back Premier League victories.

After a disappointing defeat to Leeds United on the opening game week, David Moyes has quickly turned results around.

Last weekend, Everton beat Brighton 2-0 before another victory over Mansfield saw the Toffees progress in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Jack Grealish was no doubt the star of the former match, and now the England international will be looking to continue his form against Wolves on Saturday.

Jack Grealish could achieve major feat with assist against Wolves 

Since joining from Manchester City, Jack Grealish has already earned plenty of plaudits for his performances for Everton.

The former England international picked up two assists against the Seagulls last Sunday in a brilliant display.

  • Grealish has been signed on loan by Everton with an option to buy included
  • The winger has already matched his Premier League assist count total from the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons combined for Man City
  • Grealish will be looking to get another assist against Wolves

Now, according to BBC Sport on 29 August, if the 29-year-old sets up another goal against Wolves, he will become the first Everton player since 2013 to assist in his first two top-flight starts. 

The last was Bryan Oviedo, who set up goals for the Toffees against Norwich City and Stoke City in both 2012 and 2013.

Jack Grealish can be the difference-maker against Wolves 

Wolves have no doubt struggled in their opening Premier League matches, and are one of two teams without a point.

However, at Molineux, the Old Gold will be aiming for all three points, with Wolves making another defensive addition on Friday.

Therefore, Grealish could be the key to unlocking this defence, with the 29-year-old proving against Brighton that he still has a great eye for a pass.

Hopefully, the England international will once again be in great form and prove why Moyes took a gamble on signing Grealish.
