Adam Aznou’s transfer to Everton has had minimal impact, as the Moroccan has struggled to imprint himself into David Moyes’ plans.

The Toffees have been desperate for reinforcements on the flanks of defence, but despite Aznou being an option, it is not one the manager has turned to.

The former Bayern Munich youngster was brought on further up the pitch and away from his natural left-back role against Sunderland.

In essence, the Moroccan needs to have his Blackpool moment before any final decision on his L3 future is made.

Giving up on a player so early would be unwise for the Toffees, and history shows that fullbacks found to be untrustworthy can go on to have successful careers for the Blues.
