Everton: David Moyes fed up with Iliman Ndiaye question, forward going nowhere

Everton have no real concerns about Iliman Ndiaye ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

David Moyes seems adamant that the Senegal international is going nowhere and doesn’t seem to want to answer any more questions about his future.

Liverpool have been linked with Ndiaye in recent months, but the Toffees seem confident about keeping hold of the winger for the foreseeable future.

The 26-year-old has arguably been the Blues’ best player over the last two seasons, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see top teams eyeing his signature in the summer.

Moyes has complete faith in Ndiaye and the Scottish manager’s plans at the Merseyside outfit clearly include the former Olympique Marseille attacker.

Iliman Ndiaye future secure at Everton

Speaking to the media on 24 April, when a journalist asked about Ndiaye’s situation with two years remaining on his contract at the end of the season, Moyes interjected, “Three, because we’ve got an option as well. So no, there’s no [real concern]. Not worth the question you’re asking me.”

The Toffees have found impressive attacking balance with Ndiaye playing on the right and Jack Grealish on the left and long may that continue.

Grealish will return to Manchester City at the end of the season, but The Friedkin Group will surely have plans in place to renegotiate his return.

With the Senegalese and English winger at Moyes’s disposal, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Blues achieve great things sooner rather than later.

The Merseyside outfit are in contention to qualify for Europe ahead of the upcoming campaign and the Scottish manager could pull off something special, just like he did at West Ham United.

All eyes on Friedkin Group at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Many fans have been left unimpressed by the lack of investment in signings from The Friedkin Group since their takeover.

It’s been clear since last summer that Moyes needs more quality in depth at Everton, but the American owners have failed to address the issues since.

The upcoming transfer window will give Dan Friedkin an opportunity to prove his commitment at the Merseyside outfit and they should go all out, especially if the Scottish manager gets European football in L3.

To convince the likes of Ndiaye that the Blues are the right club for them, TFG have to build a competitive squad.
