West Ham vs Everton: Mike Dean instantly reacts to Jordan Pickford flashpoint in Premier League
West Ham United fans were left calling for everything as they battle relegation, with Everton watching their European hopes slip away on Saturday.
The Toffees fell to a late 2-1 defeat at the London Stadium, with David Moyes far from happy with his travelling Toffees in the capital.
It was a poor second half from the Blues, with Tomas Soucek heading home early in the second half.
Jordan Pickford could do very little from the corner, which came moments after a flashpoint saw his late save against Taty Castellanos checked by VAR after contact.
Callum Wilson would go on to score the winner in added time, cancelling out Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s earlier equaliser in the defeat.

Jordan Pickford escapes drama
It was never a penalty, and thankfully, there was some common sense displayed in the Premier League.
That wasn’t the case in the Merseyside derby, as Virgil van Dijk escaped a booking for a terrible challenge before Pickford got a yellow for complaining.

Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday, the ex-Premier League referee instantly reacted to the footage coming into the studio.
“He’s followed through and caught him low on the foot, but it’s not a foul,” Dean said.
“It’s just momentum coming through, I just don’t think it’s anything else.”
Jordan Pickford let down by Everton teammates
It wasn’t actually a busy afternoon for Pickford at the London Stadium, who did all he could.
The England international only made this one save, but prevented 0.58 goals from it, despite the drama that unnecessarily followed through VAR.
With two high claims, there was nothing else he could do when beaten from a corner, with his front post markers not switched on enough.

It hasn’t been the best week for Everton, but they are clinging on to their European hopes.
With zero points from six, they are somehow still only two points off seventh, but with games against the likes of Manchester City, more will be needed.
Nobody appears to be grasping those European spots in this race, and it is changing every week, with one win all that is needed at this moment.
Everton aren’t doing that, and they will need the likes of Pickford to continue standing up and inspiring those around them.
