Everton’s 2025-26 season came to an end in disappointing fashion on Sunday, as David Moyes’ side fell to a 1-0 defeat against Tottenham.

After returning from the international break last month, the Toffees embarked on a dismal run, with just three points coming from seven matches.

When will Everton return for pre-season training?

When will the 2026-27 season start for Everton?

As confirmed back in November, the Premier League season will once again begin in late August, with the opening round of fixtures scheduled for the weekend of 22 August.

The campaign will conclude on 30 May, with the final round pushed back by a week. This adjustment creates an 89-day gap from the end of last season and ensures 33 days of clear space following the World Cup.

In total, the calendar will comprise 33 weekends of action plus five additional midweek rounds. The full fixture list is set to be released at 10 am on 19 June.

Following a disappointing finish to last season, Everton will be determined to respond and re-establish themselves in the race for European qualification.
