Roggerio Nyakossi has emerged as a potential Everton signing ahead of the summer window.

The Toffees squad is set for a revamp next season, with David Moyes seemingly lacking trust in most of his options.

Everton ended the Premier League season just gone as the side with the most steady squad in the whole top flight.

Nyakossi is a central defender by trade, with the same report detailing Everton’s interest, describing him as having “outstanding passing accuracy”.

Nyakossi is also said to be strong in the air, as well as proficient at winning his battles, as shown by his total duel success of 63 per cent. Nyakossi is also captain of the Switzerland under-21 side, showcasing he has leadership qualities too.

At 6’4″ his physical profile certainly aligns with what is required at the Premier League level; however, it could also signal that Jake O’Brien is set to remain at right-back for Everton.
