Everton eye £30m-rated Jayden Oosterwolde as green light given for transfer
Everton could soon make a move to sign Jayden Oosterwolde from Fenerbahce.
The 25-year-old has long been a target for the Toffees after links to Merseyside throughout the last summer window.
A move never materialised, and the Dutchman stuck around in the Super Lig, where he has become a regular.
He now has a Turkish Cup and Super Cup to his name after lifting his latest piece of silverware in the latter after he scored in the final against Galatasaray.
Oosterwolde could now be on his way to Everton as the centre-back continues to be linked with a move away from the Yellow-Navy Blues.

Everton in race to sign Jayden Oosterwolde from Fenerbahce
The Blues are in need of new defensive options after a frustrating end to the Premier League campaign.
There was nothing particularly positive to say about the L3 outfit in their final games as European football became an impossible dream.

That has already made way for transfer speculation, with David Moyes’ side seemingly in the hunt for fresh faces already.
The Fenerbahce man is the latest to be linked, as Turkish outlet Haber Global reported on Saturday that Everton are closely monitoring Oosterwolde’s situation.
Lyon, Porto and Benfica are also said to be interested, while scouts from leading clubs in Italy and Germany reportedly have given “the green light” to sign the defender.

Fenerbahce aren’t keen on selling the Dutchman, but would find it difficult to reject an offer in the region of £30million this summer.
Oosterwolde has been linked to Everton in the past, so now could prove to be the perfect opportunity to bring him in finally.
Everton could have signed Oosterwolde for £17m
The Toffees haven’t been averse to picking up a bargain transfer over the years, but this looks to be one that got away.
Considering the Fenerbahce man could cost upwards of £30m this summer, it will see Everton think what could have been.
The Dutchman was linked to Goodison in January 2024 as a report from Turkey suggested that the Blues had made an offer in excess of £17m.

Inter Milan and Napoli were also said to be interested at the time, but neither made that count, and Oosterwolde remained at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
He could be on his way to Everton over two years later, but for nearly double the price, which has to be seen as a source of frustration.
