Jack Grealish immediately reacts to Pep Guardiola message on Man City drama
All eyes in the footballing world are on Manchester City right now.
Being found guilty in 114 of 115 charges of breaching Premier League financial rules, it's one of the biggest bombshells ever.
Everton were among those after their fight with the Premier League and two-point deductions, but that is now an afterthought.
All the Toffees did was breach PSR, which was followed by Nottingham Forest, but this is unprecedented.
With players midway through the extended international breaks, there has been very little in the way of reaction.
That hasn't stopped Pep Guardiola from taking to social media to send a message to the fans of his former club.
And Jack Grealish, currently on loan at Everton, has taken note.
What has Pep Guardiola said?
Despite the charges dating back way before his time at the Etihad, everybody appears to be implicated in this.
With appeals likely and the process only just being finalised on the initial charges, this will drag on for many more years.
Punishments are being speculated from fines and transfer bans, to points deductions and immediate relegation.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Guardiola wrote: "I want every single Manchester City fan across the world to know I am here; more than ever.
"I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
"Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all."
Grealish immediately liked the post within half an hour, becoming the first City player to do so, despite being at Everton.
Where do Everton stand in legal case?
Outside of Premier League punishments, there are financial settlements possible for a long line of clubs.
That is available to those who suffered a sporting impact at the hands of City's so-called "sham".
Everton could seek damages after losing several key players to City between 2009 and 2018, they've been told.
From Joleon Lescott to John Stones, there is a possible case there.
It's a long-winded case to prove these things, though, and that's the sort of legal challenges that could be coming the way of City for many years now.
This is unprecendented, nobody knows what the outcome will be or could continue to be in the Premier League.
As for Grealish, with his contract running down at the end of this season, he may have played his final game for the Citizens amid this drama.
Everton have him now, and they'll be focusing on matters that they can control, not this, until it's fully ironed out.
