Kingsford Boakye contract situation provides Everton with David Moyes dilemma
Kingsford Boakye looks set to leave Everton on a free transfer this summer.
The 21-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and there have been no indications that he will sign fresh terms at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Finch Farm gem is attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Atletico Madrid, Brighton, and RB Leipzig ahead of his contract expiry, after scoring two and assisting two goals in the Premier League 2.
If he departs for one of those clubs, it could put David Moyes' future with the L3 club into question, as he will have played a part.
Everton may well have a dilemma with the Scotsman's future, due to his reluctance to give young players a chance.
Why may Boakye situation prove troublesome for Moyes' Everton future?
The Friedkin Group have made it quite clear they want a pathway to Everton's first team for the academy in the near future.
That may not align with the way that Moyes sees things, as he has struggled to get young players into the side this season.

Even the likes of Adam Aznou and Tyler Dibling who have played senior football before coming to Merseyside have had limited chances in his side.
Boakye has been shown no reason to extend his deal, so his exit can be placed on the manager's shoulders, at least to an extent.
How does Moyes' contract situation play into it?
Everton have to show their youth that there is a way for them to make it into the senior ranks, and the Ghanaian's contract situation proves that there is not at the moment.
Given that Moyes is out of contract in the summer of 2027, it gives the ownership an interesting decision to make.
If they want to benefit from the youth ranks, and have a system that churns out first-team players, they may need to part ways with the respected former West Ham boss.
That seems like an overreaction, but it depends on how serious they are about the issue, it could make significant profit if they get can get some players into the squad and they would also have genuine homegrown options but it won't happen under Moyes.
