The Englishman has been a regular under Moyes this season, filling in for Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski when injured.
Despite that, he has often found himself as a third choice when those two are fit, and that could spell the end of the road in the summer when his contract expires.
He didn't play a single minute last time around against Brentford, but did play 90 minutes against both Chelsea and Arsenal.
It's safe to say he didn't have his best day against the latter as he lost four duels and committed two fouls at the Emirates.
His one tackle isn't really enough, even if he did make six clearances, and it is likely to be something Moyes looks at in detail.
If Keane is given the chance against Liverpool, he needs to prove he can cut it at the top level and doesn't need to be replaced once the summer window opens.
