Everton made it four consecutive games unbeaten on Saturday, when they drew 0-0 with Aston Villa in the Premier League.

The Toffees went close to breaking the deadlock through Michael Keane, but the defender's headed effort was saved well by Emiliano Martinez.

Iliman Ndiaye impressed for Everton against Villa, but David Moyes' side were ultimately forced to settle for a point.

Isaac Heath impressing at Accrington Stanley

Accrington Stanley manager John Doolan said Isaac Heath is " an unbelievable talent" following the winger's performance against Colchester United.

The 20-year-old joined the League Two side on loan on transfer deadline day and hit the ground running instantly, netting a goal and providing an assist on his debut.

And Heath has continued to thrive, creating two chances and completing seven recoveries as Stanley won on Saturday.

Everton players near Premier League suspension

Since arriving at Everton, Moyes has been key to supply energy into his midfield, but that has also come at a cost.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tim Iroegbunham have both picked up three yellow cards this season, with just two more each landing them a one-match suspension.

The former's disciplinary record will be of particular concern to Moyes, with Dewsbury-Hall establishing himself among Everton's most important players since his arrival.

Doherty's is a name well known to Moyes, who worked with the former Chelsea scout during spells at Sunderland and Everton.

Now, the two are set to be reunited once more, with discussions expected to reach a positive conclusion.

Jack Grealish hails Everton fans

Jack Grealish impressed again for Everton against Villa on Saturday, creating several key chances as well as going close with an effort of his own.

The winger has been a driving force for the Toffees since he arrived on loan from Manchester City, and was awarded with the Premier League player of the month award for August.

Grealish called the Everton fans "incredible" following Saturday's match, also praising his teammates for another good performance.
