Everton to go all hands on deck for Esmir Bajraktarevic after latest Harry Wilson snub

Everton need everyone working together behind the scenes to pull off a summer swoop for linked target, Esmir Bajraktarevic.

The Toffees are said to have sent scouts to watch the PSV winger recently, who starred in Bosnia and Herzegovina's World Cup qualifying success last month.

David Moyes will be after new forwards this summer, and Bajraktarevic is said to have a low-risk valuation of £4.3million, which will surely attract the Friedkin Group.

The 21-year-old had a Man of the Match display for his nation in their penalty shootout victory over Italy at the end of March, as the win sent his country through to the World Cup.

Everton could accelerate plans for Bajraktarevic, especially considering that Fulham's Harry Wilson seems to have snubbed a move to Hill Dickinson.

Harry Wilson choses Aston Villa over Everton

Everton have been in the mix for Wilson, who is set to depart Fulham at the end of the season as a free agent.

The 29-year-old has enjoyed arguably his best campaign in the Premier League this season, attracting the interest of the Toffees, Leeds United, and Aston Villa.

However, according to Wales Online, Wilson is now "expected" to join Villa over other interested clubs, as the Birmingham-based side are willing to double his salary with a £100,000 per week deal.

It would have been a smart transfer for the Blues to pull off with him being a free agent, but the Freidkin Group were most likely never going to match what Villa have offered the right-sided attacker.

The possible move has also been made more likely by Aston Villa's potential to achieve a spot in the Champions League for next season, with the Toffees in 10th place.

However, Everton have had their eyes on Bajraktarevic for a long time, and though the young sensation isn't on Wilson's level just yet, he could exceed the latter in the years to come.

TFG already showing signs of weakness

Everton are undoubtedly a step up from Fulham, who are usually a mid-table side in the Premier League each year.

Wilson's exit was always likely, and when reports came through to suggest that the Welshman was looking to take the next step in his career, the Friedkin Group should have acted.

Instead, they waited and looked to have missed out, and though Champions League football is hard to compete with, the Toffees would have had their own way to bribe the winger to join.

Moyes will want a better summer window than last, and that starts with adding more quality in the final third.

Bajraktarevic could be the wildcard needed to help take Everton up a gear.
