Fabrizio Romano has shared an update as Everton have offered money to sign Almeria striker El Bilal Toure in this summer window.

The Sky Sports Italy journalist claims that the offer is the same as what Atalanta have put on the table for the 21-year-old.

Negotiations will now continue for the Mali international as both clubs aim to sign him before as soon as possible.

Via Twitter, Romano wrote, "Understand Atalanta and Everton have offered same amount to Almería for El Bilal Touré. Deal on. Negotiations will continue this week on both player and clubs side."

Should this be done, he'll be the third signing this summer after Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma.

Get this one done

Whatever assurances Bilal Toure wants, the Toffees need to give him as this is a signing they have to secure at all costs.

He's a clinical goal scorer who'll be an update on their current options and will certainly bolster their attack.

If he's still contemplating over Atalanta or Everton, it's clear that European football is not his priority and it could be down to money now.

While the Toffees have some troubles with finances, this is their most important bit of business this summer and they cannot afford to mess that up.

Hopefully, they find a way to muster up the funds and get this deal done as soon as possible and give Sean Dyche the striker he needs.

The manager did not get a new striker in January and here it seems like the club are finally making progress to get him one
