Jack Grealish has been a breath of fresh air since joining Everton on loan.

Grealish won the Premier League Player of the Month award for August, with four assists in his first three matches for the Blues.

His impact has not been felt as much in the last couple of matches as David Moyes' side have faltered, but Everton are still benefiting from Grealish's creative talents, as the Sofascore graphic below shows.

Moyes will be delighted with a decision that has been made over Grealish away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Jack Grealish set to miss out on England squad despite Everton form

A report from the Daily Mirror claims that Thomas Tuchel is not expected to select the Blues star for the upcoming international break.

It states that the ex-Chelsea manager is satisfied with his current options on the flanks despite Grealish's "impressive" form for the Toffees.

It will be a disappointing blow for the Blues loanee, but Moyes will be ecstatic.

David Moyes will be delighted if Grealish does not make it

While the Manchester City loanee obviously wants to be back in the Three Lions squad, to play in the 2026 World Cup, Moyes will be delighted if he is not called up.

If he does not get selected for England's friendly at Wembley against Wales and the World Cup qualifying trip to Latvia, it will be a blessing for Moyes.

  • Grealish has 39 caps for his country
  • His last England appearance was in a 3-1 win over Finland in October 2024
  • He has not been selected in the last eight squads

The Scotsman will want to keep his star man at peak fitness, and England duty would have brought an increased potential for injury and fitness issues.

If the report is correct and the 30-year-old stays at Finch Farm in the international break, Moyes will be delighted, as it means he will be fresh for the Toffees' fixtures afterwards.

Grealish deserves to be back in the squad, but it is Everton who will benefit the most if he does not get selected.
