Everton will make their toughest trip of the Premier League season to Arsenal on Saturday.

The Toffees tasted their first defeat of the season last time out, losing 2-0 to Chelsea at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

David Moyes wasn't too downbeat, knowing it could have been different if certain decisions went their way.

Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League as Mikel Arteta looks to defend his crown at the Emirates.

They aren't at their free-flowing best yet, though, and have just been to Germany for a 2-2 draw with Bayern in the Champions League.

So, does Jamie Carragher think that will make a difference?

Will Everton beat Arsenal?

Staying strong at the back is a given for the Toffees, but they need to find more in the final third.

Carragher does think they'll improve in that aspect from the defeat against Chelsea, backing them to score at the Emirates.

Making his predictions for Sky Sports' Super 6, the former Liverpool defender believes it will still end in a 3-1 defeat, though.

"What a cracking lineup we have this weekend," he said.

"I don’t think Arsenal will have a problem beating Everton this weekend as they’ve been having a strong season."

Surprise that works in Everton favour

Playing no midweek football while your opponent is travelling around Europe will always have some benefit.

Everton should have the fresher players, while Arteta may be forced to somewhat rotate at the Emirates.

Add into the equation that Bukayo Saka was forced off in Germany injured, he's certain to miss the game as well.

There will be other players feeling the fatigue from the consecutive midweek Champions League games.

Everton should be fresh, and have that added motivation behind them after that loss against Chelsea.

One thing that won't be lost is that physical edge, and Moyes will want the likes of Thierno Barry and James Tarkowksi to go out and make a real difference in both boxes.

Nobody will be backing Everton for success in North London, but that is exactly what will make them dangerous.

Fingers crossed for a positive result.
