Sean Dyche sack: Sources share The Friedkin Group plan at Everton
The Friedkin Group are not planning to make any major changes at Everton until mid-March, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reported on 6 January that sources claim that the stance could change on Sean Dyche should their performances not improve and the Toffees remain in relegation danger.
However, no D-Day talks have been planned with the manager despite the recent 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth on 4 January.
The Friedkin Group have to be ruthless at Everton
While changing a manager this early in their ownership of the club might be viewed as risky, keeping Dyche seems riskier.
When he took over, the club were battling relegation and two years later, they’re in the same position.
There can be some blame attached to the poor running of the club but Dyche has to do his job of building a proper system and improving players.
Just defending deep and hoping that the players figure things out on the break is not a sustainable strategy.
Hopefully, the Friedkin Group have an alternative in place if they decide to part ways with Dyche.
Most fans will believe that sacking him has been long overdue and it’s about time that the club go ahead with it.
