Everton have been predicted to get relegated after the Burnley beat Watford 2-1 on Saturday to now go five points clear.

While the Toffees still have two games in hand over the Clarets, they're not expected to finish higher than 18th.

Leeds United lost 4-0 against Manchester City, but Everton are not predicted to finish above them either.

FiveThirtyEight crunched the numbers after the weekend's results, and Frank Lampard's men are given a 60 per cent chance of relegation.

Leeds are with 28 while Burnley surprisingly, are now down to 12 - something that was unthinkable a few weeks ago.

Doomed for relegation

This season seems to be THE season for Everton - the year nobody thought would ever come.

Everything seems to be falling apart for the Toffees and even teams like Burnley are going on unreal runs towards the back end of the campaign.

It's not to say everything is done and dusted, but past performances have indicated very little that they're in a good position to stay up.

Everything points towards an unfortunate relegation and there may be nothing anyone can do about it.

Changing managers and signing players in January certainly has not worked and a year in the Championship would be devastating for the club.
