Everton are in for another tough Premier League test when they face Arsenal on Saturday.

The Toffees travel to the Emirates Stadium this weekend and will be searching for their first away win over the Gunners since April 2021.

David Moyes will most likely be demanding a response from his side after the Blues lost 2-0 to Chelsea last weekend, which was their first loss of the season.

Mikel Arteta's side won the same fixture last season thanks to a late Viktor Gyokeres goal, which was followed by a historic strike from teenager Max Dowman in stoppage time.

The same game sparked controversy with Thierno Barry, after his friends were involved in an altercation with some travelling Evertonians, but the Frenchman has since turned the mood around in L3.

Everton will be relying on their striker to get on the end of something in the game, as their chances for victory aren't looking too great.

Supercomputer predicts Arsenal vs Everton

Everton have ambitions of getting into Europe, and to do so, they may need to pick up results even when the cards are stacked against them.

The news that the Friedkin Group are looking to sell the Toffees has caused quite the stir, especially with the January transfer window.

Either way, Moyes is focused on trying to keep everybody focused on the task at hand, with the defending Premier League champions next up.

However, Opta's supercomputer has predicted Arsenal as favourites to win this one with a 69.5 per cent chance of victory.

Everton have a 13.4 per cent chance of grabbing all three points, which leaves a 17.1 per cent chance of a draw in north London.

Moyes would most likely snatch your hand off for a point, and Everton's chances of getting a result may have only been boosted after the latest Arsenal news.

How Everton have been handed injury boost ahead of Arsenal

Arsenal drew 2-2 away to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, but Everton will know that Arteta has enough quality to rotate and still play a strong squad.

Arguably their best player, Bukayo Saka, pulled up with a quad issue, which forced him to be taken off the pitch in the 10th minute of the draw.

Reports have now revealed that he is due for a scan on his quad, and a grade 1 injury, which is likely, could leave him out for up to two weeks.

A grade 2 injury is also feared, which could leave the right-winger out until Christmas time.

Everton have had big problems with Saka in the past, and will surely be punching the air at this news.
