Three Everton questions to emerge from past seven days include Jack Grealish and Jordan Pickford

Life as an Everton fan is rarely ever dull.

However, it is fair to say there have been more thrilling games than their 0-0 stalemate with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

That being said, it was another decent point on the road, and ensured Everton remained unbeaten through four Premier League games.

Three of those have now been draws, though, and David Moyes will be keen to see a few more ticks in the win column.

The Toffees have a busy week ahead, with a Carabao Cup clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday preceding a Premier League contest with Ipswich Town, both at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

With that in mind, here are three questions Everton supporters have on their minds from the past seven days.

Is Everton's lack of firepower going to become an issue?

This one is already feeling like a double-edged sword.

At home, Everton have already four goals - beating Crystal Palace 2-0 and drawing 2-2 with Manchester United.

Away from home, though, it needed a last-gasp leveller from James Tarkowski to draw 1-1 at Bournemouth, before they drew a blank at Spurs.

In fairness, Everton's xG of 1.11 suggested they did create enough to score, but couldn't get the job done.

There is creativity in the team with Jack Grealish, Tyrique George, and Brennan Johnson, but none are particularly prolific goalscorers.

There are still legitimate questions about Thierno Barry's goalscoring prowess too, so Everton fans do have concerns about the amount of goals in the team.

Is it time to start Jack Grealish?

Grealish made his return to Everton on deadline day, in a season-long loan deal from Manchester City.

The 30-year-old saw his spell last season cut short by injury, an issue he is still building back up to full fitness from.

He didn't enter the game against Spurs until the 64th minute, and he didn't manage a shot or create a chance for a team-mate.

Grealish is the kind of player who wants to be involved, though, and you feel to get the best out of him he needs to be a starter.

Moyes will obviously be cautious about overloading him, but at some point you feel Grealish simply has to come into this XI.

Is Jordan Pickford the Premier League's most underrated goalkeeper?

One thing to emerge from the result at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a notable achievement for Jordan Pickford.

England's number one chalked up his 100th career Premier League clean sheet, becoming just the 19th goalkeeper to do so.

It goes without saying that Everton fans know how good Pickford is, but is he underappreciated elsewhere?

Pickford has been a top-level performer for some time, but it always feels like there's a feeling pundits and supporters elsewhere have never truly acknowledged his quality.

Not that it really matters, but it does feel as though Pickford deserves his flowers for how good he's been for Everton.
