Tyrique George in 'outrageous' Everton moment after what's seen vs Man United

Tyrique George won the Player of the Match award as Everton drew against Manchester United on Sunday.

The former Chelsea youngster started for the Toffees at Hill Dickinson Stadium on 6 September in the 2-2 draw.

Michael Carrick's team took the lead immediately after the break, but the Blues found their first equaliser through the 20-year-old winger.

Benjamin Sesko scored at Hill Dickinson Stadium around five minutes after George beat Senne Lammens.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles then pulled something special out of the hat on his debut for the Merseyside outfit to secure a point for the home side.

David Moyes showed a lot of courage by starting the ex-Chelsea prospect over Jack Grealish, but it eventually paid off.

Tyrique George was undoubtedly the best Everton player on the pitch against Man United.

Apart from the forward's goal, he constantly put Diogo Dalot under pressure on the left-wing in the first half.

When Grealish came on after the hour mark, the English youngster moved to the right and gave Luke Shaw a run for his money, eventually scoring from there.

The attacker put his foot through the ball and ensured Lammens couldn't stop it despite getting his hands on it.

Speaking on talkSPORT on 6 September, commentator Matt Jones said, "That's an outrageous finish from a ridiculous angle."

Charlie Adam responded, "It's brilliant play from Everton in terms of getting it out to George. He has been positive all day. I'd say he has been Everton's best player in the match so far.

"His touch is perfect. It goes in actually mid-height of the goal. The goalkeeper gets a touch on it."

Brennan Johnson had a relatively quiet evening for Everton against Man United.

The former Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur forward couldn't do much for most of the game, with his touch and decision-making in the final third letting him down.

With Iliman Ndiaye moving to Manchester City, the position on the right-wing is up for grabs, and George has certainly made a case to keep his place in the starting lineup.

With Grealish going in on the left, George will have to contend for a place on the opposite flank if he hopes to be a regular fixture in Moyes' plans.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Johnson drop to the bench in the next game against former club Spurs as the Merseysiders travel to North London.
