The Friedkin Group and Angus Kinnear have faced added scrutiny, despite seven signings being brought through the door.

Merlin Rohl and Tyrique George aren't exactly new signings, though, given their loans were just turned permanent.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles - 8

It's been a dream start for the right-back.

Everton have been screaming for an answer to that problem area, and they may have found it after years.

Of course, the long-range rocket against Manchester United helps, but that will give him the confidence to continue getting even better.

Hayden Hackney - 7

Signing the Championship Player of the Season isn't the type of transfer that Everton have made in recent years.

There were concerns that he would suffer a similar start to Tyler Dibling, but he's put them to bed already.

James Garner suffering an injury earlier in the campaign saw Hackney partner Harrison Armstrong strongly.

It's been a positive start, with more to come.

Christian Norgaard - 3

It's not his fault, but arriving while injured has him on the backfoot already.

Norgaard is somewhat stuck now, because who is going to drop out for him to start games consistently?

Garner, Armstrong and Hackney are all ahead of him, and the only thing he has in his favour is experience.

Everton are unbeaten without him, so who will drop out? Time will tell.

Brennan Johnson - 5

Bang in the middle, it's hard to give any higher, or lower.

Johnson has looked bright when given opportunities, but the same problems are following him now.

That is his end product, it was questioned eventually at Spurs and he can't seem to re-find what he had.

It should come eventually, but with real competition out wide, he won't be given forever on the pitch to solve it.

Jack Grealish - 7

The feel-good factor that Grealish brings alone is worth the money spent to bring him

Moyes gave his marquee winger his first Premier League start of the season against Ipswich, and he'll only get better with more playing time.

There are question marks around his numbers in the final third after missing the entire second half of the season, but he will answer those.

Merlin Rohl and Tyrique George - 7

Both aren't technically new signings, given they're just staying permanently after their loans.

They both look more at home now, and have shared glimpses of their skill.

Consistent football and end product is needed for them to continue to hit that next level in the Premier League.
