Beto is set to end his stint at Everton with the forward on his way to Fiorentina.

The Guinea-Bissau international has been with the Toffees since 2023.

Now, the Blues are set to sell the 28-year-old with a deal agreed between all parties.

His departure will see an end to a mixed Everton career, during which he often struggled to establish himself as a consistent starter and goal threat.

And it should not be long before that move to Fiorentina is confirmed amid the latest from Sky Sports.

When will Beto undergo his Fiorentina medical?

Beto is on his way to Italy later today (31 August) with the arrangements for his move already set in place.

According to Sky Sports, the striker is to undergo his medical when he touches down in the European country.

A £15.4million deal has been agreed with the Florence-based outfit with the transfer deadline not far away now.

Once the medical is completed, and all goes well. The formalities such as media duties and contract signing will be next, with confirmation not long after.

Beto has been the second choice number nine to start the season, with Thierno Barry's form meaning he has started all three competitive games so far.

What is the latest on Everton's plans to replace Beto?

It appears that Folarin Balogun is the prime candidate to replace Beto at Everton this season.

A bid has been submitted for Balogun ahead of a proposed move to Merseyside.

And supporters will now be eagerly awaiting to hear the response to that offer.

It is looking to be a busy end to the window for David Moyes, with Kenny Tete eyed, and Richarlison's return in the pipeline too.

With these late deals hopefully being enough to make Everton contenders for European football this season.
