Christ Inao Oulai may be Everton's next big ambition in the summer transfer window.

The Toffees have had a positive start to the summer window, as Tyrique George became their third arrival after completing a permanent switch from Chelsea.

Championship Player of the Season Hayden Hackney followed Merlin Rohl through the door after the latter's permanent move to Hill Dickinson was confirmed.

Though Rohl and Hackney are both at David Moyes' disposal, it seems like the Toffees still want to add to their midfield.

It also appears that Idrissa Gana Gueye may have played his last game for the Blues, as uncertainty clouds his future after his latest deal expired.

Oulai has been added to Everton's list of transfer targets, and given that he's been compared to none other than Andres Iniesta, the Toffees may not be making a bad move if they made an attempt to sign him.

Everything said about Christ Inao Oulai to Everton

According to Africa Foot, Everton have been added to the list of potential suitors for Oulai.

The Trabzonspor midfielder has caught the eye of multiple clubs across Europe after impressive performances at the World Cup with Ivory Coast.

Though his nation were ultimately knocked out of the competition by Norway in the Round of 32, he's been described as a World Cup "revelation".

Everton are said to be monitoring Oulai "very closely", but suggestions of a £21.5million pricetag are wide of the mark.

The Toffees would have to pay more to land the 20-year-old, with Trabzonspor chiefs unwilling to part ways with him easily.

The Everton-linked man is currently said to be earning around £8,000-per-week, so salary would not be an issue for the Friedkins.

However, the Blues do face fierce competition for the midfielder, and it's clear to see why given that he's been likened to Iniesta.

How Oulai compares to Andres Iniesta

There have been suggestions that Oulai has recently deleted all but one of his Trabzonspor-related pictures on Instagram, fueling rumours of his exit this summer.

Though that may send Everton some red flags, the fact he's been compared to Iniesta will cover early concerns up.

Africa Foot claims that Oulai has been compared to Iniesta by observers for his line-breaking passing skills and ability to change the tempo of the match quickly.

Hackney is of similar qualities to this, though it remains to be seen what Moyes' midfield plans for next season are.

Either way, it's brilliant to see links to these sorts of players.
