El Bilal Toure on course to join exclusive four-man club if Everton transfer goes through
El Bilal Toure's potential move to Everton could have great significant off the pitch.
The Blues have constantly been linked with the striker over the past few years, but he has remained elusive.
However, he appears to be back on the market which could give the Toffees an opportunity to sign him.
Everton are one of four teams interesting in signing the Atalanta forward, according to Africa Foot.
David Moyes' side could be in the market for an attacker, given Beto and Thierno Barry's struggles last season.
If they manage to sign him, he would join an exclusive four-man club the moment he played a Premier League minute.
What exclusive club would El Bilal Toure be in if he joined Everton?
The 24-year-old would be just the fifth player to play in all of Europe's top-five leagues if he came to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
He would join Florin Raducioiu, Christian Poulsen, Stefan Jovetic, and Justin Kluivert as the only players to play in the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is often mentioned but he did not actually make a league appearance in his time with AC Milan.
Toure would be in rarified air if he was to sign for the Merseysiders and actually play in the English top-flight.
That is because he has already played for Stade Reims, Almeria, Atalanta and Stuttgart.
How did Toure fare in the other big five leagues?
The most important thing is how he has performed in the other elite European leagues.
He started in France with Reims, and managed nine goals and and five assists in 64 matches.
Then in Spain, he notched seven goals and two assists in 21 games for the Andalusian side.
His time in Italy saw him bag two goals and one assist in 11 matches, but he was not given a true chance in Bergamo.
His loan to Stuttgart in Germany saw him manage two goals and one assist in 12 games.
Therefore, he has a solid record across the big divisions and could be a useful addition for Moyes' side and clearly does not mind a new challenge.
Surely, the opportunity to make football history and test himself in a new league would be a tempting one for the Malian forward.
