Everton approve Tim Iroegbunam exit finances as Aston Villa learn their share
Tim Iroegbunam is finally edging closer to sealing an Everton exit.
The Englishman has long been linked with a move away from Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
He has never truly been trusted by David Moyes as his minutes have often suffered under the Scot.
That seemingly opened the door for the 23-year-old to leave, but a pre-season injury looked to have ended the chance of that proceeding.
Things have now changed and Iroegbunam looks set to make a move that will certainly be music to the ears of Aston Villa.

When is Tim Iroegbunam's Hull City medical?
There has been interest in the defensive midfielder from Hull City throughout the summer.
After their promotion to the Premier League, they were clearly keen to add the Englishman to their ranks.
That desire was on ice after his injury, but has suddenly come back to the fore on 1 September.
The Athletic reported on Tuesday that Iroegbunam is now set to undergo a deadline-day medical at the MKM Stadium.
Paddy Boyland outlined that the deal consists of a guaranteed £15million, plus £7m in potential add-ons.
That marks a positive fee for Everton to receive, but Villa will be awaiting their share.
How much will Aston Villa make from Iroegbunam sale at Everton?
The midfielder moved to Goodison in the summer of 2024 after breaking into the first-team picture at Villa Park.
He was never a regular under Unai Emery and was ultimately utilised in a PSR-related swap deal that saw Lewis Dobbin go the other way.
Villa clearly saw the value in Iroegbunam as they inserted a sell-on clause into his contract.
The Athletic report outlines that the Villans hold 10 per cent as part of that.
That will see Everton pay out around £500,000 to their fellow Premier League outfit should Iroegbunam's move to Hull go through.
