Everton door opens for Luis Henrique as Inter 'happy to sell'
Everton's interest in Luis Henrique could move to the next stage if The Friedkin Group show ambition.
The Toffees have been linked with the Inter Milan star over the last few months as David Moyes looks to strengthen his squad.
After heartbreak in the European football race, the Scotsman will undoubtedly hope to avoid the same next season.
The potential arrival of Henrique to L3 has been further pushed closer amid the latest developments out of Italy.
Inter, who have just won the Serie A title, have seemingly made their stance on the future of Henrique clear.
This could now lead to Everton finally making their move after months of interest in the South American.
What has been said about Inter's stance on Luis Henrique?
Henrique is an interesting profile of a player, and his arrival would bring plenty of questions.
At Marseille, the Brazilian was utilised as an out-and-out winger, but in Italy he has been used further back as a wing-back.
That versatility alone does make him an attractive prospect, and it would remain to be seen where Moyes sees him fitting into his puzzle.
Now, the door to sign Henrique is open more than it ever has been amid reports out of Italy.
According to Gazetta dello Sport, Inter are now "happy to sell" Henrique despite already letting Denzel Dumfries join Real Madrid.
The Serie A champions are looking to sign Marco Palestra as a replacement at right-wing back.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan star Andy Diouf is viewed as the back-up right wing-back rather than Henrique. This leaves him as third-choice for manager Cristian Chivu.
The San Siro side are looking to get around £17.3milion to £25.9m for the Brazilian.
Why Everton will have to be quick over Henrique interest
While Everton are fans of Henrique, they are not the only Premier League side looking at the Brazilian.
Bournemouth are also said to be tracking the versatile wideman, and according to the same report already sent an offer back in the winter window.
Everton could see the Cherries reignite their interest this summer with it being said that "it cannot be ruled out".
If Moyes wants to add Henrique to his ranks, a move must be put in motion sooner rather than later or they risk out on missing out.
Either way, it seems that Henrique will not be part of Chivu's future plans in Milan, and Everton now have their chance to pounce.
