Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi is emerging as a player of interest for Everton.

The Germany Under-21s international, who is also eligible for Argentina and Italy, has spent the past 16 months in Belgium with Club Brugge.

Tresoldi has been in superb form for the Pro League side, having scored nine times in 11 matches this season alone.

That includes a hat-trick against Inter Milan last week as Brugge stunned the Italian heavyweights 3-2 at San Siro.

He has 32 goals in 69 outings for the Blue-Black overall, with that goalscoring return earning plenty of interest from elsewhere.

Everton are one of the clubs keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old as an update drops from abroad.

What history did Nicolo Tresoldi recently make?

Tresoldi's treble away at Inter made him the youngest German player to ever score a hat-trick in the Champions League.

Aged 22 years and 52 days at the time, the striker showed why he was already on the radar of many European clubs even before that.

Now, as per Belgian outlet HLN, Everton scouts are to be present for Brugge's Champions League game with Lens at Jan Breydel Stadion on Wednesday night.

However, numerous other clubs will also be present, including fellow Premier League sides Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Aston Villa and Bournemouth.

It is fair to say the hype in Tresoldi is growing stronger and stronger, with a move away from his current club seeming imminent.

How much would Everton have to pay for Nicolo Tresoldi?

Tresoldi was also touted with a move to the Premier League in the summer window.

At the time, reports suggested it would take offers in the region of £33.6million to strike a deal.

That valuation has now only increased as a result of his fast start this season, including that high-profile treble at the iconic San Siro.

It will now reportedly take around £53m to prise Tresoldi away from Club Brugge.

That figure already seems to be out of Everton's price bracket, so this may well be a wasted trip for those scouts in attendance in midweek.
