Everton may well get the chance to rekindle their interest in Dusan Vlahovic as he is set to leave Juventus.

The Serbia international is towards the end of his contract with the Old Lady after four years in Turin.

He joined the Serie A giants from Fiorentina in January 2022 but is set to wave goodbye this summer.

That leaves the door open to a variety of potential moves with a free transfer on the cards for the 26-year-old.

Everton have shown interest in Vlahovic previously and could enter the race to secure his signature once again.

The number nine maybe hasn’t totally lived up to expectation at Allianz Stadium after his move from La Viola.

He has never scored more than 18 goals with Juve, having reached that tally twice in his time with Fiorentina.

Having spent four and a half seasons with the 36-time Serie A winners, it now appears his time is up due to his own demands.

The Serbian is set to enter the summer transfer window as a free agent when his contract comes to an end.

Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini has spoken out about the striker and has revealed why he is leaving.

He said: “I’m sad. I wanted Dusan to stay as he cares about out club but wants a higher salary.

“At current salary conditions, he will not stay in Italy.”

That opens the door for a move elsewhere and after Everton were linked to Vlahovic previously, they could try and make a move in the coming weeks.

How much does Vlahovic earn right now?

It may be seen as a concern that the former Partizan Belgrade star is demanding higher wages at this stage.

He is reportedly earning over £370,000 per week at this stage, so there are only a select few sides who could offer even close to that moving forward.

Vlahovic may soon realise that his demands aren’t realistic and that could open him up to an unexpected move.

Everton could take advantage of that situation, especially after Tutto Mercato Web reported in August 2025 that the forward decided to not even consider an offer from Everton.

That may have been the case 12 months ago, but as he gets more desperate for a move, the Toffees may become a more feasible prospect.

The Merseyside outfit won’t want to be seen as a backup option, but the chance to sign someone of this quality can’t be missed if it emerges.
