Everton now know what they can demand for Iliman Ndiaye.

The 26-year-old has been in demand this summer, after failing to agree on a new contract with the Blues.

David Moyes has made his desire to keep the Senegal star very clear, and interest from Al-Hilal has been knocked back.

Ndiaye could still be subject to interest from Premier League sides, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City linked with moves.

The Toffees have the perfect benchmark for their asking price if he does depart, after what Tottenham have done to sign Savinho.

How much are Tottenham paying for Savinho?

Spurs have agreed a deal to sign the Citizens winger, to bolster their attack for the new season.

David Ornstein claimed on Friday that the deal is worth an initial £75million with an extra £10m in add-ons.

He stated that £5m of those bonuses are easily achievable for the Lilywhites.

That figure should have the Merseysiders re-evaluating, as they reportedly valued Ndiaye at £81.5m amid the interest from Saudi Arabia.

However, he is a much better player, so they can surely demand more money than they originally hoped for, if Savinho is going to a league rival for pretty much the same amount.

Why Everton can demand more for Ndiaye now

Ndiaye is 26, which is four years older than the Tottenham-bound man, and has more experience at the top-level.

The exit-linked Blues man has 15 goals and three assists in 66 top-flight appearances in England.

He also has three strikes and five assists in 30 games in the highest league in France too.

Michael Keane summed him up best in an interview with the Blue Room when he labelled the 43-cap international as a player who "makes it exciting."

Savinho, while he may be a Brazilian international, only has two goals and 12 assists in 53 matches in England's elite division.

Last season, the Etihad Stadium ace only managed one goal and two assists in 24 appearances in the league.

Therefore, Ndiaye is a more constant goal contribution threat and has proven that he can adapt to different environments.

If the going rate for a winger is what the Savinho is going for, then Moyes' side should not entertain anything less, and should actually push for even more.

In an ideal world, they would keep hold of Ndiaye, but if he is to be sold, they have the starting point, where negotiations can branch out from already.
