Everton have found out what it would take to secure a Richarlison return this summer.

The Brazilian featured 152 times for the Blues, notching 53 goals and 15 assists before joining the North London side in 2022.

He has not had the same luck with Tottenham, making 133 appearances with 32 goals and 15 assists.

He was beloved by Toffees supporters in his time with their club, and it would be a move that has the support of the fanbase.

Many are frustrated with Beto and Thierno Barry, and the lack of goals that came from the two forwards last season.

Now, what Spurs would demand for a deal has emerged, and it will not make things easy for the Hill Dickinson Stadium side.

What do Tottenham want for Richarlison?

The N17 outfit will not let the former Blues star leave for a minimal fee, which could complicate a comeback.

A report from The Standard on Wednesday claims that Roberto De Zerbi's side would demand a "sizeable fee" if he was to depart, with Everton credited with an interest.

It highlights that concerns were raised in their fanbase that they could lose him on the cheap, with just a year left on his contract.

However, it is understood, according to their information, that Spurs have an option to extend the deal by 12 months.

David Moyes' side will not want to spend too much on the forward, as they will have their own concerns about him.

What concerns will Everton have about Richarlison return?

For starters, his age is not the ideal profile, as he is now 29, which makes the sizeable investment that the London club want unattractive.

Secondly, his injury issues have only got worse since he departed the Merseyside club.

He has missed 74 matches for club and country in his time with Tottenham, compared to 17 when he was with the L3 outfit.

Finally, Moyes' side have other areas in the squad that need signings, particularly right-back and in the attacking positions on the flanks, so they may not be willing to part with a significant amount to bring him back.

Given the demands, and the concerns around his fitness, it seems unlikely that a return is on the cards in this transfer window.
