Everton may receive £8.2m amid new January transfer update
Atalanta are considering options to beat Torino to secure the services of Everton striker Beto, according to Calciomercato.
The news outlet reported that the Italian outfit are considering an immediate payment between £6.6million and £8.2million or even a straight loan with a fee in the range of £1.6million-£2.4million.
Torino are also understood to be keen on signing the 26-year-old but are currently only offering £5.7million for his services.
Everton find themselves in a strong position with regards to Beto
The race seems to be heating up to secure the services of Beto this month.
This puts the Toffees at a huge advantage as they arguably overpaid for the striker in the summer of 2023.

When they had a goal-scoring crisis and issues with Dominic Calvert-Lewin's form and fitness, they needed someone who was going to be an upgrade on him.
Beto clearly was not that and time has proven that to be the case with him barely featuring under Sean Dyche.
Currently, both clubs' valuations would see the Toffees make a huge loss on him but they can hold firm and see who's willing to up their offer.
Hopefully, one of them comes up with a respectable offer and if not, the Merseyside outfit would not mind holding on to him for another few months.
