Everton ready to sell Jake O'Brien - two potential replacements identified

Everton are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Jake O'Brien.

The Toffees are in the hunt for a new right-back, and the Ireland international could fall victim to changes at Hill Dickinson.

David Moyes has admitted that it is a top priority position for the Blues to fill this summer after O'Brien played almost the entirety of last campaign out on the right.

Angus Kinnear has also said that the club have several options they could go with, as Nathan Patterson could also follow Seamus Coleman out the club very soon.

The likes of Djed Spence, Omar Dedic and Guela Doue have all been linked to the Toffees this summer, but moves for the trio have failed.

Now, O'Brien could be sold as Everton draw up two potential replacements.

According to The Athletic, Everton are open to selling O'Brien before the end of the window.

It's said that the 25-year-old is attracting interest from clubs across Europe, with teams in England also keeping tabs on his situation.

The player is keen to be a regular starter in his natural position of centre-back, but with Everton unable to guarantee him his wish, he could look to leave.

There is interest in O'Brien in England, France and Italy after he was left out of Everton's starting eleven to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Fulham's Timothy Castagne and Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz are both possible replacements.

However, O'Brien isn't the only player who could leave Everton ahead of the deadline

There has been little noise about O'Brien ever leaving Everton, having only joined the Merseyside club in 2024.

That said, it's not known what Kinnear and Co. would value the defender at in the market.

Everton would most likely demand a fee in excess of over £10million, given they spent £17m on him just over two years ago, as Beto could also pocket the Friedkin Group some extra spending money.

It's said that Everton are anticipating offers for the striker, and is once again attracting interest from Italy.

Beto was linked with a loan move to Juventus in January, and could head back to Italy three years on from his Udinese exit.
