Everton transfer target Christ Inao Oulai has already hinted at club exit amid social media behaviour
Everton's reported transfer target Christ Inao Oulai may have already given a hint over his future after his recent social media activity.
The Ivorian has dazzled at the World Cup this summer, but is set for a return to Turkey after his country was dumped out in the round of 16 by Norway.
Oulai played in all four of Ivory Coast's games in North America and has since fueled speculation about his possible exit from Trabzonspor.
The 20-year-old has admirers in the Premier League, with the Toffees, Chelsea, Fulham, Nottingham Forest and more across Europe all interested.
David Moyes has already welcomed one midfielder this summer, but could be after another, given the Blues' chase for the former SC Bastia star.
However, Everton must take caution with their approach, especially if they see legitimate signs that Oulai is trying to force his way out of Trabzonspor.
Everton-linked Christ Inao Oulai already fuels character questions
According to Africa Foot, Everton are the latest team to be added to the list of potential suitors for Oulai.
The Toffees are said to be monitoring the defensive midfielder's situation "very closely".
Trabzonspor have set a price tag on the player at just over £19million, but it would be no surprise to see this increase after his performances this summer.
However, Moyes and Co. may need to be made aware of his recent social media antics.
According to The Mirror, the World Cup "sensation" deleted all but one of his Trabzonspor-related posts on Instagram recently, hinting at his exit.
The one photo that he indeed still has up is from November, and it seems rather cryptic given it has no caption on it either.
Everton know all about players who need their phones taken away from them, and Oulai may shown red flags already.
Everton's past troubles should send them warning with Oulai
Oulai is a major talent heading in the right direction, there's no doubt about that, but the early spotlight could be getting to his head.
Thierno Barry is the most recent example that Moyes and Co. need to look at, as the Frenchman caused quite the stir on Merseyside with his social media behaviour.
Moise Kean is also another highlight of why character judgement is so important.
Everton should try to get more information on Oulai as a person before moving ahead in the transfer race.
