Everton appear content to sanction a clearout of their academy this summer, with Coby Ebere the next youngster to depart Finch Farm.

The Toffees no doubt have a talented academy, but the club have come under fire for a possible misuse of their youngsters.

Isaac Heath's departure was confirmed recently, as the promising left-wing back was allowed to join League One side Cambridge United for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old has just spent his first season at senior level on loan with Accrington Stanley, where he picked up 11 goals and assists, being tipped for a successful career by manager John Doolan.

The Blues are also set to confirm the departure of Demi Akarakiri, who has a medical booked with Serie A side Caligari after being left unconvinced by the prospect of signing a new deal at Hill Dickinson.

Now, Everton have waved goodbye to Ebere, who has left the Toffees in search of a new challenge.

As confirmed on Wednesday, Ebere has joined Serbian outfit Cukaricki on a three-year deal.

Like the fellow youngsters who had departed before him, Ebere could see his best chance of making a success of himself by leaving the Toffees.

David Moyes has faced criticism for his unwillingness to hand chances to youth stars or even young multi-million-pound signings.

Ebere played 12 times for Everton's U21s last season in the Premier League 2, grabbing two assists and earning respect as a talented player.

However, the Blues clearly have an issue where their young prospects know that they won't get a chance at Hill Dickinson, especially while Moyes is in charge.

Braiden Graham worry at an all-time high

While it could be argued that losing Ebere is another mistake from Everton, he may not have done enough to win a new deal with guarantees anyway.

The German played second fiddle to Braiden Graham all season, who has emerged as the Toffees' brightest talent at Finch Farm.

However, given the pending departures and those that have already left Everton's academy, Graham could be next.

There's a possibility he could be loaned out to an EFL side next season, but his form will surely have other Premier League teams tracking his progress.

It would be a nightmare if Everton lost the winger, too.
