Everton appear to have finally concluded their search for a new right-back after reaching an agreement with Fulham's Kenny Tete.
Strengthening in that position has been a priority for the Toffees all summer long.
In fact, it has been a priority across a number of windows now.
Angus Kinnear recently revealed he was confident a new right-back would be signed before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
And it appears he was true to his word amid a transfer update emerging on Saturday evening.

What hurdle remains for Kenny Tete to Everton?
Everton have been linked with countless right-backs over the past few months.
Tete was not one of the names that has recently been mentioned, though he has been linked with a switch to Hill Dickinson Stadium in the past.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reported via X that personal terms have been agreed between Everton and Tete.
However, an agreement must now be thrashed out between the Toffees and fellow Premier League side Fulham.
Tete has spent the past six years with Fulham, making close to 150 appearances in all competitions in that time.
The 14-cap Netherlands international's only appearance for the West London side this season came in the Carabao Cup win over Wimbledon on Thursday.
What type of right-back is Kenny Tete?
Tete assisted a goal in that cup tie, though he is more known for his defensive qualities than attacking ability.
Last season, for example, he contributed directly to just one Premier League goal in 22 appearances.
Tete is known for being strong in one-on-one duels, while his tackling ability is another strong point.
On that basis, it sounds as though David Moyes may have had a big say in the Toffees' move for Tete.
It may not have been the name at the top of most fans' wishlist, but everyone will just be happy that a new right-back of some sort is now surely incoming.
