Everton get Daniel Munoz transfer hint as £22m bid submitted for right-back
Everton have identified Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz as a leading right-back target ahead of the transfer deadline day.
The Toffees are determined to sign a new right-back before the window closes, and are now open to selling Jake O'Brien.
The Republic of Ireland international has interest in England and Europe, with his minutes said to be at risk at Hill Dickinson this season.
David Moyes has admitted that he though O'Brien faired well on the right-side of defence last term, but has his sights set on Munoz to replace him.

However, Nottingham Forest seem to have taken the next steps towards signing Munoz, and have now submitted an official offer for the defender.
According to an update from Sky Sports on Friday, the Reds have submitted a bid worth £22million, with Oliver Glasner keen on being reunited with his former star.
But the biggest hint for Everton is that the Eagles are said to be considering the offer.
This means that Everton may now know the price needed to land the 30-year-old, and could launch their own offer before it's too late.
The catch in Munoz to Everton
Some Evertonians have been left bereft that the Toffees haven't already made a bid for Munoz.
The full-back has multiple years of Premier League football now, and can be considered as one of the best right-backs in the division.
However, the catch for Everton could be his age.
Munoz is now 30, and given his position, the age he's now at means he may not have long left in the tank.
Though his short-term arrival would fix Everton's problem, evidence from the recruitment team show they are focused more on signing youngsters or even first-team starts who have room for growth in the future.
Perhaps they should bend their own policy for Munoz.
