'Incredible' Iliman Ndiaye told not to hesitate on Everton exit amid Man United and Arsenal links
Iliman Ndiaye is facing an increasingly uncertain future at Everton.
The 26-year-old, currently representing Senegal at the World Cup, has been linked with an exit from Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
After joining from Marseille in the summer of 2024, Ndiaye has become a firm fans' favourite among the Toffees faithful.
He has 15 goals and three assists over his two years at Everton, and has earned plaudits for his front-foot style of play.
But Everton are facing somewhat of a quandary, amid reports he has rejected several offers of a new contract at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Manchester United, Arsenal, and Manchester City have all been linked with Ndiaye's services, and he has been encourage to depart if such an opportunity presents itself.
Iliman Ndiaye told to leave Everton if he wants trophies
The Liverpool Echo reported that Ndiaye is on a shortlist of Man United targets this summer.
The Athletic have also reported that Ndiaye's representatives have rejected "multiple" contract offers.
Everton are said to have a £70million price tag on Ndiaye's head, so there is no guarantee he will leave this summer.
But former Premier League and Senegal striker Henri Camara, who played for the likes of Wolves, Southampton, and West Ham, thinks it is a no-brainer for him to leave if a big opportunity presents itself.
Speaking to the Echo, he said: "If he keeps going like this, he can go far and play for an even bigger club, he has incredible talent. Every time I watch him play, it makes me happy.
“Football is like that. If a big club needs him, he shouldn’t hesitate, he should leave.
“If you play for a team that isn’t winning trophies, it’s difficult. One day he dreams of winning trophies, so if a big club comes for him, he has to leave to go and win things.”
What has Iliman Ndiay said about his Everton future?
Ndiaye's immediate focus is, of course, on Senegal's World Cup campaign.
But, soon enough, it will be decision time for both Ndiaye and Everton in terms of how proceed next.
What Everton cannot afford is for a long, drawn-out saga, which would leave limited time to find a replacement.
Ndiaye himself has spoken to Sportbible recently about his own future, and spoke of is aspiration to play in the Champions League.
“You don't know where football will take you next," he said.
"As I've always said, I want to be the best player and to do that, you have to play at the top.
"I want to be playing at the top level. I want to be playing Champions League football."
