Richarlison intentions clear as silence broken on Tottenham and Everton transfer 'turmoil'

Richarlison has spoken out about rumours linking him with a move from Tottenham Hotspur to Everton.

The Toffees are said to have already agreed a £35million package deal with Spurs for the Brazilian to return.

It's said that the Blues are willing to pay £25m in an upfront fee and an additional £10m in add-ons for the striker to come back to Merseyside.

This come as Iliman Ndiaye could head in the opposite direction, though interest from Manchester City makes everything complicated for the winger.

However, Richarlison has been vocal about a move to Everton in his latest post on Instagram.

What Richarlison has said about Everton move

There is yet to be a personal agreement between Everton and Tottenham, and some doubts have remained over a deal.

The striker has now taken to his Instagram on Monday to speak about the situation.

He said: "If they reach an agreement between Spurs and Everton, I’ll return to the team of my heart. My intention was indeed to return to the place where I was very happy.

"It’s just that the negotiations were being handled the way other people wanted, and it’s not going to be that way anymore.

"Despite all this turmoil, I have a contract with Spurs and I will be available to the club."

The number nine is essentially putting his foot down and not letting other clubs decide his future anymore.

This is not to say he will not come back to the Toffees, but more so that he will assess his choice before deciding, not Spurs making a call on his behalf.

Everton would also like to sign Folarin Balogun from Monaco as well as Richarlison, with Beto close to being announced as a Fiorentina player.

Is Richarlison's admission good or bad news for Everton?

Richarlison has basically admitted that he is happy to return to Everton; likewise, he is also content to remain at Tottenham.

It's the transfer talks that haven taken place without his say that have clearly frustrated him.

Evertonians know Richarlison for being an emotional individual, but let's hope he can clear his head ahead of a big decision before Tuesday's deadline.

The fee between Everton and Spurs does not seem to be an issue, but there are still some remaining parts to the deal that need to be ironed out.
