Richarlison shares Everton compilation after summer transfer controversy
Richarlison was one of the stories of the summer at Everton.
The drama hasn't finished there at Tottenham, despite him failing to secure a move away from North London before the deadline.
Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed his decision to exile the striker from his squads, with the fallout still ongoing.
Richarlison took his case to FIFA to try and get out of his contract, but has since been involved in Tottenham's squad photo.
So, it was a surprise when he turned down a return to Everton.
Admitting that he wanted his career to go a different way, he also cost Spurs the chance to sign Iliman Ndiaye.
Yet, he still clearly thinks about Everton daily.
What has Richarlison done now?
It's a long time since the Brazilian was firing in goals at Goodison Park.
After a decent spell at Spurs, he has been somewhat left behind despite their struggles and Dominic Solanke being no better.
He certainly hasn't let that go.
Sharing on his personal Instagram story on Thursday, Richarlison reposted a compilation of his goals while at Everton.
From a sensational solo goal against Brighton, to an overhead kick and another strike at Anfield for the Toffees, he covered all bases.
While not wanting to return, he'll never forget.
What was the story behind Richarlison's Everton snub?
It was a very quick transfer story, one that came out of nowhere.
Ndiaye possibly going to Spurs was the main headline, but the Brazilian going the other way felt like fate.
Instead, Richarlison rejected Everton as he didn't see his future in England and the Premier League.
He would have cost £35million in the end, which was similar to the fee initially agreed for Folarin Balogun later in the window.
That also collapsed, leaving the Toffees with only Thierno Barry as a senior striker until at least January.
David Moyes wasn't happy after that, and it only goes to show that better work is needed by the Friedkins and Angus Kinnear.
Moyes has dragged Everton back away from danger and has nothing to show for it, and a brand new striker would be the perfect gift in January.
Shame that it won't be Richarlison.
