Everton have been said to be planning an offer Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian international is quite a high-profile number nine and would be an ambitious coup.

Currently, he is out of contract and available to sign on a free, although, Juventus do want to bring him back to the Old Lady.

Nonetheless, becoming a history-maker could be a way to entice him to make the move to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Without even stepping onto the pitch, should Vlahovic put pen to paper, he would forever enter the history books.

And it has all to do with his nationality.

So, the intrigue is what would have happened if Vlahovic played a full campaign, and you would suspect more goals.

At just 26 years old, Vlahovic the striker has plenty of football ahead of him as well.

Goodison News have reported on the recent links for Everton with Vlahovic, and as things stand, the striker is not exactly pushing to make the move.

But, every player likes to create and hold records, and at Everton there would be one nobody could take from Vlahovic.

If a deal is agreed, the 26-year-old would become the very first Serbian to ever represent the Toffees.

Throughout the history of the Blues, that is a feat yet to be hit.

Although, Vlahovic would be the first Serbian, he would not be the first Serbian-born player to play for Everton.

From 1992 to 1994, the Blues had midfielder Predrag Radosavljevic, also known as "Preki" in their ranks.

But, despite Preki being born in Belgrade, Serbia, he would go on to represent the United States of America 28 times on the international stage.

So, he ultimately falls under the bracket of American's to play for the Toffees rather than Serbians.

Although, at the time, Serbia would have fallen under the national side of Yugoslavia as Serbia did not become an independent state until 2006.
