Galatasaray have remained firm in the face of a potential sale and that has now been echoed by Turkish journalist Ibrahim Seten, speaking to 343.
He said: "I'm sharing information from sources close to the president; no matter how much money, whoever offers what amount, even if they offer £50million, I won't make any move that weakens the team, and I won't allow it.
"I'm not selling Baris. Just like last year. Baris is one of our key players. I'm not selling, brother, he says. Tottenham, Fulham, Everton. Some say Tottenham is closer.
"Dursun Ozbek has currently put a stop to it there. No, brother, I'm not giving him, he's said. They've verbally seen £30m plus £5m. I know £35m."

It may seem like the done thing that the Turkish giants won't be selling their star attacker.
These comments make it seem that way.
Everton still have a choice to make over whether to try and make a deal happen to seriously improve their forward line.
They could lodge a bid and see where Galatasaray go with it and whether they can truly turn it down.
The Toffees are in desperate need of positive change and the Turkyie international could bring exactly that.
